Big Devroom Updates for Mega Man Legends 3
Site revamp, Bonne Mecha Idea Event goes live, and the heroine contest winner gets a name!

Well well, what do we have here? The folks at Capcom promised a whole new Devroom was coming for fans to interact with the developers of Mega Man Legends 3, and the site is now live. Along for the ride is a new site layout, new features, and several new posts:

The Bonne Mecha Idea Proposals (Event 2) is now open for submissions. Fans who wish to participate are asked to visit a special forum for the event and submit their ideas, explaining what the mecha will do, how the battle is fought and other comments. And, as talked about before, they can submit illustrations and concept drawings to accompany their ideas. Submissions are open only until November 29th, so if you're interested, visit the Devroom and get involved!

Along with the Devroom's new look is a sidebar item titled the "Save MegaMan Rocket Project!" which presumably tracks the progress of the game's development. An... interesting and offbeat blog post featuring a Servbot conversation discusses what the rocket is about - though you probably know by now if you've been following the news, or finished Mega Man Legends 2.

Finally, with the winner of the Heroine Design Contest finalized after 6200-plus votes, Capcom has revealed both updated artwork for the character, but revealed her name will be Sephira. While we've added a few new images of Sephira to our gallery, there's a great new blog post that chronicles her evolution from the concept rendering to her final design, that's worth a read, especially if you enjoy behind-the-scenes details.

Mega Man Legends 3 is coming to the Nintendo 3DS (in case you forgot), though currently lacks a release date.
