Ace Attorney Investigations 2 Gets Japanese Release Date

Eureka! Capcom has revealed that Gyakuten Kenji 2 (known as Ace Attorney Investigations 2 in North America) will be released on February 3, 2011, priced at ¥5,040 ($62.37 USD).

The game will come in four different editions: Standard, Collector's, Limited, and Extended. The Collector's Edition will include a soundtrack CD with orchestral arrangements by Noriyuki Iwadare, a DVD with promotional footage, and a new manga by Tatsuro Iwamoto, all for ¥6,090 ($75.36 USD). The Limited Edition includes everything in the Collector's Edition, plus a 180mm Miles Edgeworth figurine, and is priced at ¥8,000 ($99.00 USD). Finally, the Extended Edition contains just the game and the figurine for a slightly more affordable ¥7,140 ($88.36 USD).

Both editions that include the figurine are only available through the e-Capcom store, and will come with a Gyakuten Kenji strap. Be sure to check out our gallery for a look at some of the special edition items as well as some screens from the game, plus the trailer, below.

No North American release has been announced for Ace Attorney Investigations 2 at this time.
