Check Out Persona 2: Innocent Sin PSP's Official Site
This remake is brought to you by: Everyone who bought Persona PSP.

Less than a week after announcing that Persona 2: Innocent Sin was getting a PlayStation Portable remake, and a few days after showing off the new intro movie, Atlus finally put up the game's official website. Not only will you hear an arranged version of Philemon's theme, but there's also some character, story and game info in there for your perusal... if you can read Japanese. If not, just look at the pretty pictures for now.

Atlus also got a development blog going for the game, and in the first entry, director-composer Shoji Meguro mentions that Persona on the PSP sold so well, they were able to increase the budget for Innocent Sin, which means some new features - but he didn't elaborate. (Looks like we better do our part in buying the game so that we can increase our chances of getting an Eternal Punishment remake... just saying.) He did say, though, that while the first Persona remake was targeted at newer fans, such as those who came into the series by way of Persona 3 and 4, Innocent Sin is meant more for fans of the original game.

Persona 2: Innocent Sin for the PSP is supposed to be released in Japan sometime this winter.
