Get Spooked! Halloween Soundtracks Update!
Features FFXIV, Fable III, Square Enix Battle music, Persona, and a broken promise.
10.31.10 - 10:35 PM

Happy Halloween, audiophiles!

Fable III was recently release. Like, within the past week. So too was its soundtrack, thanks to Sumthing Else Music Works. We have a review for Russell Shaw's latest and greatest within the soundtracks section. It's a solid WRPG score. The details and audio samples are found within the review itself.

Final Fantasy XIV - Now there's a horrifying name. We know this MMORPG got off to a bad start. But Nobuo Uematsu's music? Magnifique! No full OST has been released yet, but two EPs ("Field Tracks" and "Battle Tracks") were released last month. We have the reviews for them today.

Square Enix also released two "best of" albums, and they're ... well, scary in their own right. The "battle tracks" vol.2 and vol.3 albums are reviewed. It's all PS1 era.

Finally, We have a review for the two disc "Persona Compilation CD-Box," featuring music from Persona 3 (including FES and P3P) as well as Persona 4. Nothing creepier than phallic demons, am I right?

And now for our broken promise. We said the "next update" (since the Oct 11th update 3 weeks ago) would include the OST and arrange albums for Last Ranker. Not yet. Sorry folks. We'll get there soon. But we promise, it's worth the wait.
