And you'll only have to wait until next year

Ubisoft has announced that they will be releasing the newest iteration of their Heroes of Might and Magic series for PC next year. Not to be confused with the recently-launched Might and Magic: Heroes Kingdoms SRPG/MMO hybrid, this title will be developed by Hungarian developer Black Hole Entertainment, who previously crafted Warhammer: Battle March and Warhammer: Mark of Chaos.

The game will take place 400 years before its predecessor and will follow the story of an archangel that unites the peoples of Ashan against his enemies, but under the guise of fighting a demonic force. According to GameSpot, Black Hole will "remaster" the gameplay and integrate fan feedback. Online play will also be supported.

Heroes of Might and Magic VI will see release for PCs next year.
