Neal's Retro Review Corner: Virtua Quest
PS2 and GameCube versions are equally bad. Neal tells us why.

No one was exactly enthralled when Sega published Virtua Quest, the Action RPG based on the Virtua Fighter franchise, in early 2005. But in case you were looking through bargain bins recently and wondered to yourself, "hey, maybe THIS is a decent game..." we're here to set you straight.

Or rather, our buddy Neal is here to set you straight.

The PlayStation 2 and GameCube versions of the game are nearly identical. Thus, the text of Neal's review is also nearly identical. Differences aren't what matters here. What matters is that, regardless of version, this just isn't a fun game. Heck, we've had four years to make up our minds over the game, and I think this is about a definitive opinion as any you'll get on this not-so-classic title.
