Bethesda Launches First Fallout 3 Downloadable Content
01.27.09 - 6:50 PM

Bethesda Softworks has released the first downloadable content package for Fallout 3 for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows Platforms, entitled Operation: Anchorage. With this downloadable expansion, players will enter a computer-simulated battle between Chinese and US forces in a pre-apocalypse Alaska. The downloadable content also adds more equipment, perks, and achievements. The download is available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

In February and March, Bethesda will launch two additional downloadable content packs, the second of which will extend the game's main storyline as well as give players a level cap of 30 and the ability to explore Mario Lemieux's home, Pittsburgh.

Owners of the PlayStation 3 version of the title may be stuck with what they've got, as the downloadable content has not been announced for their platform of choice.
