End of the Year Soundtracks Update: Featuring BioWare
12.28.08 - 2:25 PM

We have six soundtrack reviews today. They can be broken into three parts (both by franchise and by reviewer).

First, we have two soundtrack reviews from Kyle Miller. They are the scores to two different BioWare games, and both music teams led by Jack Wall. The first is Jade Empire, and the second is Mass Effect.

Then, we have two soundtracks from the Memories Off series (from developer KID), reviewed by Neal Chandran. One is the extremely rare Memories Off After Rain OST (which was released as something of a promotional item). The other is a mini-album for character "Mih Kashima" from Memories Off: Omoide ni Kawaru Kimi.

After these four (relatively) recent albums, I felt today's update would be best balanced out with some retro reviews. So I rounded out our Falcom coverage today with two reviews from the Ys series: a MIDI Collection, and the "Lilia from Ys" album (which contains string quartet arrangements and J-pop vocals).

That'll be our last soundtracks update in 2008. we promise that 2009 will start off with a bang. Be prepared for it!
