First RPG Developed for iPhone Revealed
07.22.08 - 8:42 PM

While Vay will always retain the distinction of being the first RPG released on the iPhone, it's still essentially a SegaCD game. Italian developer Kiki Technology has a teaser page/blog up for their upcoming game PanfobiA, with only a few details released thus far. Visually, the title features 16-bit-style graphics and promises a 'new controller experience' that has yet to be detailed.

Perhaps more interestingly, in addition to a single-player mode potentially 100 hours long, an online mode is unlocked upon completing the game that allows players to play in a MMO-style 'endless' world - whether this means a persistent world like most MMORPGs or not hasn't been revealed.

No release date or price for PanfobiA has been revealed outside of "soon," though the developer blog promises more information is coming soon.
