Bethesda Announces Stand-Alone Shivering Isles Disc for 360
09.06.07 - 12:44 PM

Microsoft has touted the Xbox Live service as an integral part of its Xbox 360 experience. Not everyone has connected their 360 to the internet, and some others would prefer something physical to hold on to for their purchase. Either way, Bethesda Softworks has announced they will be releasing the Oblivion expansion, The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles, as a disc release for the Xbox 360. The retail disc, different from the previously-announced Game of the Year edition, will also feature all of the content from the Knights of the Nine quasi-expansion.

Additionally, Prima Games will be releasing a massive 496-page tome as the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition strategy guide. For more information about Oblivion, check out Mike Bracken's review of the game here!
