Namco Bandai Sells Monolith Soft to Big N

Namco Bandai Games has sold its subsidiary Monolith Software to Nintendo. Under the agreement Nintendo will acquire a majority stake of 80% in the makers of Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos, while Namco Bandai will retain a 16% stake in the company, which was originally founded by Namco in 1999. The transfer of the shares is scheduled for May 1st.
