Valentine's Day VGM: Red and Blue
02.14.07 - 4:48 AM

So I'm a married guy. It puts a whole new spin on Valentine's Day. The days of fancy restaurants, chocolates, and roses are gone (at least for this year, with a newborn in town).

In its place, my wife and I present to you the most obscure of obscure soundtracks, which we have reviewed. You've probably never heard of most of these games. If you have, you've won an award.

We've written poems for you describing our recent reviews. Check it out.

"VGM <3 Part 1" - by Jennifer
Roses are Red: The Adventurous Sequence,
Violets are Misty Blue,
I like obscure VGM,
I hope you do too.

"VGM <3 Part 2" - by Patrick
Roses are Ring of Red,
Violets are Blue Almanac,
I've reviewed some more soundtracks,
Including the newest .hack.

Surprise! Like I'd let my own wife upstand me. While we both picked obscure soundtracks with the words "Red" and "Blue" in the title, I snuck in a bonus: the new soundtrack for .hack//G.U.! It's the second OST volume, and it covers all the music for the rest of the 3-part series. It's excellent, unlike some of the other stuff we looked at to fit this strangely-themed update.

Next week, (or sooner), the order of the day is Mana from heaven! (hint hint).
