Cyberfront to Acquire Kid Brand, Software
02.01.07 - 3:49 PM

Tokyo-based publisher Cyberfront is interested in acquiring the rights to Kid's software library and brand. One of Japan's leading makers of love adventures, Kid, filed for bankruptcy in December 2006, after the amount of its indebtedness had reached 530 million yen ($4.37 million USD). Now Cyberfront aims to revive the Kid brand. While both Cyberfront and the administrator in bankruptcy had initially declined to comment on this report, the company has since confirmed the acquisition on its official website.
