One of Japan's best kept secrets was blown open when Atlus localized one of the games in Banpresto's long-running series. Well, actually, they localized two: the games went hand in hand, despite a discrepancy in their original releases (2002 vs. 2005).
I (Patrick) went ahead and reviewed both of these games: Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation and Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2. Dennis and I also tag-teamed a swarm of Super Robot Taisen soundtracks to help demonstrate the far-reaching grasp of this series in Japan.
