Square Enix Sets Shipping Record

Square Enix has announced that with the release of Final Fantasy XII in the US, they have set a record of total units shipped for release date for any title. There were one and a half million copies of Final Fantasy XII available on its release date, including the limited edition package which is available only through GameStop and EBGames retailers.

The initial shipment of Final Fantasy XII is about 60% of the total units sold of the title in Japan since its March release date in that territory. For more information on the recently released Final Fantasy XII, check out Stephen Harris's review below.
