New Tales of the World PSP Details Announced

Bandai Namco Games today announced some new details regarding its PlayStation Portable RPG Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. The game will feature the following item fusion/creation systems: A mainstay of the series, cooking allows the player to create new food. Metallurgy offers means to strengthen one's arms by applying special materials to them. By applying gems to existing clothes, heads, boots and other accessories, their quality can be improved as well. The game's item creation system also gives players the option to create various other tools.

In addition to Tales of Symphonia's Genuis Sage, Tales of Destiny's Stan Aileron and Rutee Kartret as well as Nanaly Fletch from Tales of Destiny 2, today's update also reveals one original character: Aurora is a mysterious female scientist knowledgable in a science which allows for the creation of things through the consumption of mana.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology will be available in Japan on December 21st for 4,800 yen ($40.61 US).
