Square Enix President To Take Charge of Taito
06.28.06 - 1:11 AM

Square Enix president Youichi Wada will become president of his company's subsidiary Taito on July 1st. While retaining his position at the parent company, Wada will replace current Taito president Yasuo Nishigaki. This move is aimed at strengthening the integration of the two companies by putting further emphasis on Taito's traditionally strong amusement facility division.

Since Square Enix's acquisition of Taito last September, Wada has been acting as the chairman of Taito's board of directors. Nishigaki will now assume this position.
