GN Software Brings _summer## to PS2
02.02.06 - 11:03 PM

Good Navigate (GN) Software is bringing Hook's 2005 love adventure _summer## to PlayStation 2. Compared to the original PC release, the PlayStation 2 version will feature a new scenario and a large number of new CG scenes. In _summer## the player assumes controls over protagonist Takumi Kaidzu. Following a conversation with a friend, the high school student begins to think about love. As always in the love adventure genre, the result is obviously not restricted to thinking. While _summer## plays like a traditional adventure, it also features what its creators refer to as assist real-time click (ARTC) system. After the game asks you to choose between multiple answers, your conversation partner's facial expressions will change depending on the timing of your answer.

Seven heroines will be waiting for love advances from Takumi. Konami Hatano is Takumi's childhood friend and a second-year high school student. Since her dad rarely returns home, she cooks her meals at Takumi's place. She likes seagulls, the sky and the sea. Shino Ebidzuka is a classmate of Takumi and Konami. Her parents own the local Shinto shrine. Sana Kaidzu is the protagonist's younger sister-in-law. Chiwa Amano is a fellow of Sana and a gifted fortune teller. Wakana Shimadzu is a third-year student. Since the death of her strict grandfather, she has been enjoying a certain degree of freedom. Hinako Nanao is the teacher in charge of the protagonist's class. She has a tendency to buy things she does not need and hence is constantly out of money.

_summer## for PlayStation 2 will be available in Japan sometime this summer carrying a suggested retail price of 6,800 yen ($57.89 US).
