Red Soundtracks Update
01.31.06 - 6:29 PM

Last month, we brought you exclusive reviews of soundtracks for Sakura Taisen V. Today, we out-do ourselves by virtually completing the game-related discography, and by throwing in a review of a rare eight disc box set of vocals. Yes, you read that right: eight discs.

The Sakura Taisen "Complete Song Box" contains vocals from all the games, anime, and live performances up to December of 2002. Reviewed by Ogawa Burukku of the website "Strawberry Sherbert," this massive review deserves your attention.

Gareth Price, who previously reviewed the soundtrack for the first game's remake, now brings you his take on the OSTs for Sakura Taisen 3 and Sakura Taisen 4. Rounding things out nicely, I reviewed the vocal album for Sakura Taisen 3. If you were wondering: no, ST4 didn't have a separate vocal album release.

I've also written reviews for OSTs of two other Red games. One, which you may remember from Atlus's localization, is Thousand Arms. The other, which you likely know nothing about, is Mitsumete Knight.

That's our update for the week. We hope you enjoy these soundtrack reviews!
