Princess Soft Announces Tsuyokisu for PS2
01.29.06 - 9:42 PM

Princess Soft is working on a PlayStation 2 version of Candy Soft's love adventure Tsuyokisu, titled Tsuyokisu: Mighty Heart. Compared to the original PC version, which was released on August 26th 2005, the game's PlayStation 2 release will feature one additional heroine.

The game's protagonist is second year high school student Leo Tsushima. The bright young man has a reasonable amount of friends, but is not very enthusiastic about learning or club activities. He prefers to hang around with his old pals, instead. With his parents on a business trip, he has been living alone. At the request of his parents however, Leo gets to live together with his cousin Otome Kurogane. The two have known each other since their early childhood and Otome is something like an older sister to Leo. She is often seen running around with the katana she received from the school's headmaster and has a samurai-like personality. Since she doesn't know how to operate any kind of machines and electronic devices however, she is incapable of even recording videos on her own.

Kinu Kanisawa is an old friend living near the protagonist's house. She is rather bad company and has a foul mouth. Half Japanese, half American, Erika Kiriya is the students' association's president. Her family owns the rising Kiriya Corporation. She is often referred to as "princess" by her fellows. The beautiful Nagomi Yashi is a loner who always quarrels with Kinu. Inori Ooeyama is the school's most beautiful teacher and happens to teach English to the protagonist's class. She is very strict, but her easy-to-grasp teaching methods are quite popular. Yoshimi Satou always hangs out with Erika Kiriya and is an honor student.

Tsuyokisu: Mighty Heart will be released in Japan on May 25th. The standard version will be available for 7,000 yen ($59.68 US), while the limited edition will go on sale for 8,000 yen ($68.20 US). The latter will ship with a drama CD.
