Deep Labyrinth Goes DS
12.29.05 - 2:11 PM

The popular cellphone game Deep Labyrinth is making its way to Nintendo's DS handheld. In charge of the game's scenario will be Chrono series mastermind Masato Katou, while the music will be composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. The duo has already worked on Interactive Brain's original cellphone version.

The game's DS release promises high quality visuals. Players will use their DS unit's touchpad and stylus to control their character's attacks. By drawing a circle around an enemy's weak spot with the stylus, massive damage can be inflicted upon your foes. Similarly, magic can be unleashed by inputting spells on the touch screen.

Deep Labyrinth will be available in Japan on March 23rd for 4,800 yen ($41.06 US).
