Banpresto and Gust Team Up for PS2 RPG
09.03.05 - 11:07 PM

Atelier series makers Gust and Bandai subsidiary Banpresto have teamed up for a new PlayStation 2 RPG project, titled Ar Tonelico: Sekai no Owari de Utaitsuzukeru Shoujo. Taking place in the world of Sol Sierre, the title tells the story of a group of girls possessing the power to transform thoughts into magic, and a young protagonist who loves adventures. Sol Sierre only consists of a floating continent and a gigantic tower. One of the game's heroines is Orika Nestmir. Despite her cheerful character, the member of El Milemia church still suffers from the death of her parents. System-wise, Gust is implementing its popular item synthesis system.

While the game already has an official web presence, the teaser page does not offer any information at this point.

Ar Tonelico: Sekai no Owari de Utaitsuzukeru Shoujo will be available in Japan sometime this winter for 6,800 yen ($62.03 US).
