SCE Announces TGS 2005 Line-Up
08.31.05 - 6:37 PM

Sony Computer Entertainment today announced its line-up for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2005. Among the seven playable games and four demo movies to be exhibited at the company's booth is only one RPG, but at least it is a highly anticipated one: The Level 5-developed Rogue Galaxy will be playable on the show floor.

The eleven games which have been confirmed to make an appearance at Tokyo Game Show are only PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable games. Today's press release, however, mentions that more than those eleven games will be on display at Sony Computer Entertainment's booth. Given that company president Ken Kutaragi had previously confirmed plans to show off playable demos of PlayStation 3 titles at Japan's largest game industry event, it is probably only a matter of time until the first next-generation titles will be added to the current line-up.

This year's edition of Tokyo Game Show will take place in Chiba prefecture's Makuhari Messe Japan Convention Center from September 16th through 18th.
