The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Delayed
08.16.05 - 8:32 PM

With Zelda fans salivating after the footage shown at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2005, no one could wait to get their grubby little hands on Twilight Princess in November. Problem is, no one is going to be touching it worldwide until at least 2006.

"After much discussion, the Zelda development team has requested extra time to add new levels, more depth, and even higher quality to Zelda: Twilight Princess. Consequently, we're announcing a new global launch in 2006," said Perrin Kaplan, Nintendo of America's vice president of marketing and corporate affairs.

While Twilight Princess has been pushed back to 2006, Nintendo fans will be happy to know that the Game Boy Micro will be available on September 19, and that the Nintendo DS will have a price drop to $129.99 on August 21, just in time for Nintendogs and Advance Wars: Dual Strike.
