Harvest Moon and Lunar Genesis publisher Marvelous Interactive and Neverland today announced Frontier Stories, an original RPG for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. US Gamers are familiar with the game as CIMA: The Enemy, released in 2003 by Natsume. In Frontier Stories, players will take the role of two gate guardians who have to help 14 settlers return to their world. On their way to a new colony, the train with the 14 onboard was taken to another world. The game's protagonist is the guardian and sword fighter Ark J. He is working together with the game's heroine, the gun-wielding Ivey F. Vanros U. is a 28-year old fencer who could be called the settlers' leader. He is unwilling to accept Ark's leadership over the group and opposes him. Shelley is a 25-year old settler and the group's mood maker, while the 14-year old Filis S. has an eye on Ark. Last but not least the six-year old Emmy H is always afraid and needs to be with her brother Harry. Gameplay-wise, the player will not only have to take down any enemies they encounter in the game's various dungeons, but also show the settlers where to go.

Frontier Stories will be available in Japan on October 27th for 4,800 yen ($43.13 US).
