Summer of Falcom Music Pt. 2
07.12.05 - 10:58 PM

Welcome to part two of our multi-part "summer of Falcom", where we bring you an onslaught of Falcom soundtrack reviews.

To begin with, RPGFan has finally completed its library of "Falcom Special Boxes", as Mike Wilson has reviewed '93 and '95, and I have reviewed '97 and 2004. These boxes contain music from Ys, Brandish, Popful Mail, The Legend of Heroes, The Legend of Xanadu, and others! Be sure to read up on these four new reviews. In fact, do yourself a favor and scan your way through all ten Special Box reviews.

Reader reviewer Derek Strange has also put in some work, reviewing The Legend of Xanadu Super Arrange Version. I matched this review with two reviews of my own: the OST and JDK Special for the same game. That's a lot of Xanadu for one update. Enjoy it.

Part three of the "Summer of Falcom Music" will likely contain more Ys and The Legend of Heroes, and perhaps some Sorcerian to spice things up a little.

But before that happens, expect the much-promised updates of Lunar and Atelier music, as well as some of the new and exciting soundtracks coming our way in the near future (such as Musashiden II and Shadow Hearts From the New World).

Finally, if you'd like to submit a review, whether we already have one or not, simply send me an email with the suggestion of what you'd like to submit, and all will fall together quickly. Thanks for reading!
