Sega will release a compilation of classic MegaDrive (Genesis) songs in Japan next month. Titled Sega MegaDrive Super Medley, the one-disc album will contain songs from 24 titles, among them the following RPG classics: Shining and the Darkness, Shining Force, Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star III and Landstalker.

In addition to an original medley created by the original Genesis sound source, the disc will also feature an arranged and a super medley.

The Sega MegaDrive Super Medley will be available in Japan on July 20th for 1,300 yen ($11.93 US).
