Realize Confirmed for PS2 Release
05.31.05 - 9:37 PM

Interchannel today opened the website of Realize: Panorama Luminary. This PlayStation 2 title is a remake of PlayM's adventure title which was originally released for the PC platform in 2004. The game tells the story of Ryou Matsuura. Its story centers around a mysterious power called Ego, whose origin is unknown. It can't be seen by normal human beings, and there is no way to perceive it. Nonetheless, recently rumors suggest that its appearance inside high school kids have begun to spread. Those who wield the power of the Ego can communicate with each other on a spiritual level. However, there is also the possibility of damaging another person's Ego, and thereby inflicting significant hurt onto the wielder's heart. The game's cast includes:

Yae Shibaura: A classmate of Ryou's. She is considered a special person within her class.
Fushimi Suzuki: Fushimi is a friend of Ryou's. He excels in studies as well as sports, and acts as an adviser to Ryou.
Kei Ashida: Kei is an honor student. She has a nervous temperament and happens to have a particularly tense relationship with Ryou.
Saya Miyaji: Ryou runs into this girl in the city at night. An isolated figure, she seems to hide something.
Haruaki Asou: He is well-versed in using the Ego. Upon meeting Ryou, he brings about Ryou's transformation.
Kunihiro Asami: Kunihiro does not like to think logically, instead he prefers to trust his emotions on each and every occasion.
Ryuusuke Kishi: Similar to Haruaki, he also posseses the special, spiritual power known as Ego.
Satoko Takeuchi: A classmate of Ryou's and member of the basketball club. After quarreling with Yae, she also undergoes a transformation.
Atsuko Saito: Atsuko is a friend of fireflies.

Realize: Panorama Luminary for PlayStation 2 will be available in Japan on July 21st for 7,200 yen ($66.70 US).
