In its newest issue Weekly Famitsu has reviewed several upcoming titles, among them the newest installment of Banpresto's Super Robot Taisen series and Popolocrois Monogatari. Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 received a gold award, by reaching a score of 33 out of 40. Popolocrois Monogatari: Pietro Ouji no Bouken scored 31 out of 40, thereby earning a silver award. Other games however received considerably less praise from the editors. Asmik Ace's PlayStation 2 remake of the Nihon Falcom classic VM Japan and the PlayStation 2 adaption of Ichigo 100%: Strawberry Diary were handed 23/40 ratings respectively. GN Software's Izumo Complete fared even worse, scoring only 22/40.
