Hanjuku Eiyuu 4 Composers Revealed
01.21.05 - 7:37 PM

Square Enix has revealed that Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Itou are jointly composing the soundtrack of its upcoming PlayStation 2 title Hanjuku Eiyuu 4: 7nin no Hanjuku Eiyuu. This seems to confirm Uematsu's notion that he will continue to work on Square Enix titles, after leaving his long-time employer to found his own company Smile Please last year. The two composers will be joined by Tsuyoshi Sekito (composer of Brave Fencer Musashi, Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon 2, All Star Pro Wrestling 2) and Kenichirou Fukui, both members of Uematsu's rock band, The Black Mages. Director and producer Takashi Tokita also mentioned that a virtual alter ego of Uematsu will make an appearance in the game.

Hanjuku Eiyuu 4: 7nin no Hanjuku Eiyuu will be released in Japan sometime this year.
