Trickster Goes Live in Japan
01.21.05 - 7:33 PM

Gcrest has launched its PC-based MMORPG Trickster in Japan today. Unlike many MMORPGs featuring characters based on mythological creatures like elves, in Trickster players will control characters whose cartoonish designs have been inspired by animals. There will be four basic character types available: Attack, Magic, Sense and Charm-type. The appearance of those four types will alter, depending on the user's gender selection.

Gcrest will not charge any usage fees for Trickster, however similar to MindArk's Project Entropia and GameOn's Red Stone, items have to be purchased with real-world money in the game. Among the items offered in the game are many fashion-related goods, such as sunglasses and hair coloring sets.
