First Iris no Atelier: Eternal Mana 2 Details Revealed
01.21.05 - 7:28 PM

Gust has released some early tidbits of information on its PlayStation 2 sequel Iris no Atelier: Eternal Mana 2. The sequel to last year's highly acclaimed title will basically feature the same system which made Iris no Atelier: Eternal Mana so popular in Japan, but take place before the original game. Contrary to previous series installments, developer Gust is placing a greater emphasis on the story-telling aspect rather than alchemy this time around. Mixing various items however will remain a key feature in this new game with one interesting twist: Instead of one hero, this time it will be up to two protagonists, a girl named Wiese and a boy to save the world from grave danger.

Iris no Atelier: Eternal Mana 2 will be released in Japan sometime in May for 6,800 yen ($65.83 US).
