Square Enix Releases New Musashi Samurai Legend Details
01.16.05 - 2:11 AM

In the newest issue of V-JUMP magazine, Square Enix released some new details about its action RPG sequel Musashiden II: Blademaster (Musashi Samurai Legend). In the sequel to the 1998 PlayStation One classic Brave Fencer Musashi, the legendary warrior is summoned to another world by the game's heroine, princess Misela. She asks Musashi to help her save her world from the evil Gundrake Corporation. The Mystic race, which is led by Misela's parents, is trying to fight Gundrake. The key to Musashiden II's story are the so-called Magic Steam Stones, which are hidden away in underground caves. These stones have created a wonderful natural environment, but can also be used as a very powerful energy source. This makes them very interesting for Gundrake, which has sent its robots to invade the Mystic's kingdom in order to get a hold of the Magic Steam Stones.

Muashiden II: Blademaster will be released in the US sometime this spring. In Japan, the game is only listed for a 2005 release so far.
