Hudson Announces Tengai Makyou III Limited Edition, New Game Details
01.02.05 - 2:07 PM

Hudson has updated the official Tengai Makyou III: Namida website with new information on the game's limited edition. The deluxe pack will include an original Tengai Makyou votive picture (which can be used to ward off evil and bring good fortunes to its owner), a 128-page artbook, a DVD containing a Tengai Makyou-inspired anime, a Ouji Hiroi-designed sticker as well as a cellphone strap.

In further Tengai Makyou III-related news, several new characters have been revealed. As his name suggests, Oni ichiban (Demon No.1) is the head of the demon race and by far the strongest among them. Tonkararin is a dancing haniwa (haniwas are unglazed earthen objects fashioned in ancient Japan) and Tametomo is a famous archer of aristocratic origin. On the villain side, Ichimotsu is an evil reincarnation capable of controlling the minds of humans and animals. Ichimotsu is mean, sly, ugly and cowardish. He would not hesitate to let a fellow villain die without trying to help him or her. Schoene (German for beauty) is a devilish beauty, capable of charming men and summoning tornadoes at will. Idaten (swift-running heavenly warrior) is the fastest person in the world of Tengai Makyou III. He has abducted all women living in Nagasaki and locked them up in his castle. Nigi, the king of thunder, is a cool-headed villain. From his castle in Shiranui he constantly summons thunder clouds.

Tengai Makyou III: Namida will be available in Japan on April 14th. The standard version will retail for 7,800 yen ($76.05 US), while the limited edition will cost 14,800 yen ($144.31 US).
