Entama 2004 Opens its Doors

In the halls of Chiba prefecture's Makuhari Messe Japan Convention Center, this year's International Tokyo Entertainment Market has opened its doors, as part of the Tokyo International Film Festival 2004. Sony Computer Entertainment uses the event to show off a near complete version of its handheld PlayStation Portable and with it ten games, among them Hudson's Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory. In addition to Rengoku, Hudson also has set up booths allowing fans to experience Tengai Makyou III: Namida for PlayStation 2. Square Enix is showing off its two November releases Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Dragon Quest VIII: Sora to Umi to Daichi to Norowareshi Himegimi in playable form and Final Fantasy XII in video form. Sega Sammy's line-up includes Sakura Taisen V: Saraba Itoshiki Hito yo, while Atlus offers players to try out its PC MMORPG Shin Megami Tensei Online IMAGINE. On Banpresto's booth, fans can play Super Robot Taisen GC and Super Taisen Original Generation 2, while watching a trailer of Magna Carta's PlayStation 2 version. Koei for its part showed off first footage of Zill O'll: Infinite, the PlayStation 2 remake of its PlayStation One RPG.

Entama 2004 will run through October 24th.
