Tales of Symphonia PS2 Reaches Sales of 300,000 in Japan

With Naruto topping the charts, Pokemon Emerald came in at spot two, after selling 74,642 copies this week and a total of 1,016,843 copies. The PlayStation 2 version of Namco's RPG Tales of Symphonia has sold another 50,372 copies in the week until October 3rd, bringing its total to 315,818 copies, thereby surpassing the original GameCube version, which was released in Japan 14 months ago. Square Enix's cel-shaded action RPG sequel to Hagane no Renkinjutushi: Tobenai Tenshi (Full Metall Alchemist and the Broken Angel), Hagane no Renkinjutsushi 2: Akaki Elixir no Akuma added 12,944 copies for a total of 79,038 copies.
