During the Anime Expo 2004 in Anaheim, California, Team XGMR emerged victorious over the second finalist Denuo Convena to claim the title American Ragnarok champions. Both finalists will head to the South Korean capital of Seoul this week to represent the US in the 18-nation Ragnarok Online World Championship tournament, taking place on July 17th and 18th. The winning team will be awarded a prize of $10,000 US and the total of cash prices handed out to participating teams will be $64,000 US.
