Tales of Symphonia PS2 Pre-Order Campaign Announced
07.01.04 - 11:06 PM

Namco has revealed a pre-order campaign for the PlayStation 2 version of their GameCube RPG Tales of Symphonia. Fans who pre-order the title will receive a Special DVD as a free gift. Apart from a promotional trailer and artwork for Symphonia's PlayStation 2 version, the DVD will also contain a first look at the series' next original installment, Tales of Rebirth. Since the DVD is only available in limited quantities, interested fans are advised to place their pre-orders as soon as possible.

Tales of Symphonia for PlayStation 2 will be released in Japan on September 22nd, carrying a price tag of 6,800 yen ($62.49 USD). Given that the PS2 version won't be releasing in Japan until over a year after the original GameCube release, it's too early to tell if it will see release in other territories.

Meanwhile, the GameCube version of the title will be released in the US in 12 days, on July 13th. It will retail for an MSRP of $49.99 USD, and fans can still pre-order the title from GameStop to net themselves a free artbook.
