Nintendo has opened the official website for the newest Game Boy Advance entry in its long-running Fire Emblem series of strategy RPGs, Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki. The Intelligent Systems-developed title will take place in the ancient land of Magi Val, where people are holding on to five Holy Stones to ensure their peaceful existence. As time passes, the continent is divided into various nations, all of which see the Holy Stones as protectors of their newly founded states. The most powerful among those nations, the Kingdom of Grat, however begins a conquest aimed at taking over the entire continent. The Kingdom of Renaiss is incapable of resisting the invading armies, and one city after another falls into the hands of the invaders. At this time, news regarding the whereabouts of prince Ephraim, who had previously left the capital, stops coming. Continuing their assault, the armies of Grat quickly reach the capital and Renaiss surrenders. At the brink of defeat, King Fad sends his daughter, princess Eirik to the allied Kingdom of Fleria, before putting up his last fight. In the meantime, Eirik is heading for Fleria accompanied by several followers, including the knight Zet.

Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki will be available in Japan sometime this fall.
