Banpresto and Softmax have announced that Magna Carta for PlayStation 2 will be released in Japan sometime in September. Japanese fans who pre-order the game will receive a B5-sized 44-page artbook as a present.

The original Magna Carta was released for the PC platform in South Korea two years ago. For the new PlayStation 2 release, developer Softmax has inked a publishing agreement with Bandai subsidary Banpresto.
