Soundtrack Singles Update!
06.04.04 - 3:15 AM

Yeah, that's right, RPGFan's most outstanding, brilliant, wonderful Soundtracks section has been lacking in the world of singles. No, not single people, singles...y'know, CDs with just 3 or 4 songs: the hit, the B-Side, and then Instrumental/karaoke versions of those songs? Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about here.

And would you believe that three of them are related to Final Fantasy X-2? Oh, you would? Well then...I best get started.

The instrumental single "Eternity ~Memory of Lightwaves~ Music From Final Fantasy X-2" is a unique disc, because it actually contains arranged versions of some of the game's few quality songs. Kumi Koda brings us two singles, "Come With Me" and "real Emotion / 1000 Words", each containing different versions of the two hit songs from Final Fantasy X-2.

The fourth single is the opening theme to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: and it's a good one. The vocalist, Yae, definitely has something going for herself: the music is outstanding, both instrumentally and vocally. Be sure not to miss this review.

And, ironically, the odd-man-out isn't a single at all! It's a couple, in fact: a double-disc OST for Front Mission 3. This time, the reviewer ISN'T yours truly, but instead faithful reader-reviewer Dragon God, who has always been a fan of Square's "underdog" games and composers.

Over the summer, expect more reviews for OSTs, arranged albums, and now plenty more SINGLES coming your way! And remember, don't be shy, always consider submitting a review to us!
