Sonic Team has announced that it will begin accepting applications for the closed beta test of Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II for the PC platform. Starting on March 25th at 19:00 JST, the application period will run through March 31st. A total of 5,000 users will take part in this upcoming testing phase. Successful applicants will receive their Closed Beta Trial Kit from Sega PC via mail. Fans who still have their access key for the discontinued PC version of Phantasy Star Online will receive privileged treatment.

The PC version of Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II is based on the game's Xbox version.
