Well-known among the gaming community for videos and trailers, website GameTrailers has updated their site with a new trailer for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XII. Available on DVD with Japanese magazine Famitsu, those lacking access to the magazine can view and/or download the trailer here in both QuickTime and Windows Media formats.

In stark contrast to many North American trailers and previews, this one shows more actual gameplay than the FMV-laden ones many are used to. Since Final Fantasy XII aims to cut down on FMV anyway compared to the norm, this could be a reminder of that fact.

Final Fantasy XII is due out this summer in Japan.
