First Utau: Tumbling Dice DC Details Announced
03.09.04 - 5:28 AM

First bits of information regarding Reindeer's Dreamcast version of the popular PC love adventure/business simulation hybrid Utau: Tumbling Dice have been revealed. Apart from a new storyline, the game's cast will be increased by two, with two new heroines joining the five girls which appeared in the original PC release. The first one is Kazuki Asukai, an egotistical girl whose appearance in the shop always spells trouble. The latter statement also fits for Shino Sawaki, a girl who lacks self-confidence and always worries about the size of her breasts, but at the same time tends to come up with daredevil style actions. The game tells the story of a protagonist who happens to inherit an indebted karaoke shop from its late former owner. Since the latter has not paid off his debts, it is up to the protagonist and the three beautiful daughters of the predecessor to get the karaoke shop back on track and pay off the outstanding bills. On the other hand, it convienently provides him with the opportunity to get in very close touch with the girls.

Utau: Tumbling Dice for Dreamcast will be available in Japan on May 27th. The standard edition will retail for 6,800 yen ($60.71 US), while the first print limited edition, which will ship with a Premium Fan Disc, will cost 7,800 yen ($69.64 US).
