Super Robot Taisen MX Pushed Back
02.16.04 - 10:16 PM

Banpresto has delayed the release of the upcoming next installment in its flagship series Super Robot Taisen until May 27th. The company cited improvement of the title's quality as the reason for the two-month delay. Super Robot Taisen MX for PlayStation 2 was originally scheduled for a March 25th release in Japan.

As a result of the delay, Banpresto promptly downgraded its forecasts for the entire fiscal year. The company now expects sales of 27.5 billion yen ($260.79 million US) and a net profit of 50 million yen ($474,158 US), declines of 8.3% and 80% compared to previous estimates, respectively.
