01.03.04 - 7:40 AM

Atlus has announced a few features of its PlayStation 2 RPG Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniacs. A new demon called Beelzebub will be introduced as one of the game's most powerful creatures. Capable of changing his form, this fellow is a tough nut to crack. When he appears in front of the protagonist, the player should get ready for a fierce battle. Furthermore, series mascot Jack Frost has become a demon. While in his standard white and blue outfit he is a friendly fellow who is selling items in Nocturne, a black and violet version of him will be introduced in Nocturne Maniacs. This "King of Kabuki-chou" will make a formidable opponent, but with certain requirements met can also become one of your devilish companions. Last but not least, a new Majin will be added in form of the Trumpeter.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniacs will be available in Japan on January 29th for 5,800 yen ($54.25 US).
