Princess Maker Announced For PS2
01.02.04 - 7:06 AM

GeneX will be publishing on March 25th in Japan a remake of Princess Maker, a game originally released in 1991 by Gainax, the company responsible for the anime series Evangelion. In Princess Maker, you will act as the "father" of a little girl and will have to guide her, help her and choose what sort of education she will receive until she's an adult and you see what job and future awaits her in one of the many available endings. Princess Maker is the first title in this child raising simulation set in a medieval fantasy world, featuring many events and RPG elements. The second and third game have been released on various platforms such as the PC, Saturn, PS, and more recently DC, and a Princess Maker 4 is currently in the works. It has been a long time since 1 had been re-released, though. The graphics will be entirely redrawn, as the original graphics were done in a limited color mode. Voice acting will also be added, and many elements will be enhanced. The game will be priced 4980 yen (approx. $46).
