Konami Digital Entertainment today announced that it has acquired the worldwide publishing rights for the console version of the newest installment of Nihon Falcom's flagship series Ys, Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim for the PC platform. Konami will release an updated version of the game in about one year, sometime in winter 2004. Exactly which system platforms the title will be released for, are yet to be announced. The console version will not only feature improved graphics and sound, but also new maps, enemies and items.
