New Sakura Taisen Monogatari: Mysterious Paris Details
12.02.03 - 3:53 AM

Sega of Japan recently released several details concerning Sakura Taisen Monogatari: Mysterious Paris. The game will be set a half year after Sakura Taisen 4, and feature a cast assembled from Sakura Taisen 3, but without Ichirou Ohgami. Ohgami, who was the main character of the previous four titles, will be replaced by Japanese detective Akechi Koujiro and his little sister Miki. It is unclear at this time whether players will be free to choose between the two, or if their involvement is dependent on the storyline.

Unlike previous installments which were adventure-RPGs, Sakura Taisen Monogatari: Mysterious Paris will be a strict adventure. It will however, feature the LIPS selection system that the series has become known for. The game will also feature a life bar, although its purpose has yet to be determined. The game's two theme songs will also be released as a promotion on December 21st.

Sakura Taisen Monogatari: Mysterious Paris, developed by Sega WOW, will be available in March following a one-month delay, as previously reported.
