CESA Game Award Winners Announced

The Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association of Japan (CESA) has announced the winners of its annual awards. Square Enix's PlayStation 2 and PC MMORPG Final Fantasy XI was one of the two grand award winners. Excellence awards went to Final Fantasy X-2, Bandai's .hack series, Nintendo's Legend of Zelda Kaze no Takuto (The Wind Waker) and Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, among others. Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire also received the award for best sales. Square Enix in the meantime received the Global Award (for a domestic title) for Kingdom Hearts. Last but not least, one of the Game Awards Future was awarded to Level 5 and Microsoft's Xbox MMORPG True Fantasy Live Online.
